Salesforce integration

Last updated March 2026

The Salesforce integration pulls Chatter activity and calendar events from your Salesforce org into Roadmappy, where they are transcribed, analysed, and included in your insights alongside meeting data.

What syncs from Salesforce

ObjectWhat it includes
Chatter posts (FeedItems)Posts and comments from Salesforce Chatter, including author, account context, and threaded replies
EventsCalendar events and activities — subject, description, attendees, and related opportunity or account
Synced records go through the same AI processing pipeline as meetings: language detection, sentiment analysis, category tagging, and summarisation.

Connect Salesforce

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Connect next to Salesforce
  3. Authorise Roadmappy on the Salesforce OAuth screen
  4. Once connected, your workspace admin can trigger the initial data sync
Admin step required
After connecting, an initial sync must be triggered by your Roadmappy workspace admin. Contact support@roadmappy.io to kick off the first sync.

What Roadmappy does with synced data

Each synced record is processed automatically:
  1. Language detection — identifies the language of the content
  2. Translation — translates to your workspace language if needed
  3. Sentiment analysis — scores the content from negative (−1.0) to positive (+1.0)
  4. Category tagging — assigns relevant product and topic categories
  5. Summarisation — generates a concise summary (under 150 characters)
  6. Corpus indexing — adds the record to semantic search so it appears in reports and trend analysis
Records that contain no meaningful content (e.g. calendar placeholders with no description) are filtered out automatically.

Filtering synced data

Go to Insights → Salesforce to browse and filter your synced records:
  • Filter by sentiment (positive / neutral / negative)
  • Filter by language or country
  • Filter by category
  • Search by keyword across content and summaries
  • Filter by date range

Data freshness

Salesforce data is synced in date-range batches. Each sync fetches records created or modified within a specified window. Reach out to request a re-sync or to extend the date range.

Disconnect Salesforce

Go to Settings → Integrations, find Salesforce, and click Disconnect. Existing synced data is retained in your workspace.
